Faith‑Based Journaling & Bible Study Brand

Niche: Faith‑based journaling & Bible study tools
Platform: Shopify + Meta + Klaviyo
Starting point: ~$115,000/year in sales
Outcome: 20x increase in annual revenue ($2.3M/year) in under 24 months

Where They Started

When they came to FoundRev, they were:

  • Doing ~$10k–$15k months, totaling $115k/year
  • Running some ads and sending some emails, but with no real plan
  • Sitting on a small but highly engaged audience that wasn’t being fully monetized

They didn’t need another “tactic.” They needed a way to turn attention into cash at scale.

What We Did With FoundRev

We focused on three levers and ignored everything else: offers, Meta, email.

1. Chose a true “home‑run” offer

We audited their catalog and built one primary acquisition offer that hit three requirements:

  • High margin so there was room to buy traffic
  • High demand so people actually wanted it
  • High profit per order, not just a nice AOV on paper

That offer became the tip of the spear for all paid and email traffic.

2. Built a Meta ad machine instead of “random ads”

We turned their ads into a factory. We tested 50–100 new ads per month (roughly 12–25 per week), used a simple framework (concept → hooks → creatives) around the home‑run offer, and let the data pick winners. This gave them a predictable way to find and scale winning ads instead of hoping.

3. Turned email into the profit engine

On the back end, email became where most of the profit lived. We built a Welcome flow that actually sold (not just “10% off” and vibes), Cart abandonment flows that pulled back would‑be lost orders, and consistent Weekly campaigns that put real offers in front of the list.

The Results

Once the system was live, the compounding kicked in fast:

  • In the first 30 days, monthly revenue jumped from ~$14k → ~$29k (about 2x)
  • In the first 60 days, revenue climbed to ~$87k/month (around 6x vs the starting month)
  • In the first year, annual revenue went from $115k → just under $1.1M (roughly 9.5x)
  • In the second year, they crossed $2.3M/year, more than doubling again

On the list side, total subscribers grew to 116,000+ with over 84,000 buyers feeding repeat purchases and launches.

From $10–12k Months To $600k Months

Patriotic Home Décor Brand | USA‑Made Wood Wall Art

Niche: USA‑made patriotic home décor (wood wall art)
Starting point: $10k–$12k months, mostly from DIY Google Ads
Main issues: Stuck, founders doing everything, barely profitable
Outcome: First $50k month in ~90 days, scaled to ~$600k months about a year later.

The Starting Point: “Stuck at 10–12k and out of moves”

Two founders in Michigan launched a patriotic home décor brand and muscled their way to $10k–$12k months. On paper it looked “fine.” In reality:

  • Revenue was capped in the low five figures
  • Almost all sales came from Google Ads they were running themselves
  • Profitability was shaky
  • Cash in the bank roughly equaled the cost to work with FoundRev

They were at the classic crossroads: “Do we spend basically everything we have to get help and try to get unstuck… or keep the cash, stay stuck, and keep hoping?” They bet on building a real growth system instead of treading water.

What We Did With FoundRev

We didn’t chase hacks. We installed a machine.

Turned scattered ads into a real acquisition engine

Rebuilt their paid strategy so it could scale beyond “a couple Google campaigns we babysit at night.” Used clear economics and guardrails instead of “let’s just spend more and pray.”

Clarified the offer and hero products

Made it obvious what to buy and why now, so every paid click had a higher chance of turning into a customer. Aligned pricing and positioning so they could afford to buy traffic at scale.

Fixed the path from click to purchase

Tightened the onsite flow so more visitors became buyers, not bounces. Removed friction that was silently killing paid performance.

None of this is magic. It’s the boring, compounding work most brands avoid… which is why it works.

The Results

Once the system was in place, the ceiling cracked fast:

  • Within about 2–3 months, they went from stuck at $10k–$12k to their first $50,000 month.
  • Roughly one year later, they were doing around $600,000 months, driven almost entirely by their online store.
“We were doing 10–12k months. A couple months after working with Bryan, we had our first 50k month. One year later, we were doing 600k months strictly through our online store.”

And his warning to other founders:

“You can join and get nothing if you don’t do what you’re told. If you go all in and implement, implement, implement… it works.”

From Backyard “Faith Shed” To Warehouse & Scaled Sales

Strands of Faith | Faith‑Based Hair & Beauty Brand

Brand: Strands of Faith (faith‑based textured haircare)
Founder: Ameka Coleman
Main issues: No real structure, leaky email setup, founder doing everything
Outcome: Email turned into automated revenue engine, moved from shed to warehouse

Where She Started

Before working with FoundRev, Ameka had hustle and a great brand story, but:

  • Everything was built on trial and error and late‑night research
  • She could feel holes in the business: money leaking out of weak marketing and missing structure
  • Email existed, but there was no real strategy or automation behind it
  • She was basically a one‑woman team, trying to do it all manually

In her words, she needed “something to help me piece everything together so I can have a solid, strong foundation to keep building Strands of Faith on.”

What We Did With FoundRev

We didn’t give her 100 “tips.” We installed structure.

1. Turned email into a system, not a random blast

Ameka already had Klaviyo, but it wasn’t doing the heavy lifting. We installed proven email flows and scripts so she could automate more of the selling, and built a simple, repeatable campaign rhythm she could run without burning out.

“His email system… is absolutely phenomenal. I’m all for automation because I was pretty much a one‑person team.”

2. Filled the “holes in the bucket”

We used FoundRev’s framework to identify where traffic and buyers were slipping through cracks. We tightened offers and follow‑up so more visitors turned into customers and more customers came back.

3. Supported the founder, not just the funnel

Regular guidance and direction when decisions felt heavy. We pushed her to grow into bigger space and capacity when the numbers supported it.

“He looks at your brand and takes it on as his own… he pushed me to get this new warehouse space. My faith and my belief in Bryan has led me here.”

The Results

With a real system in place:

  • Email became a reliable profit center instead of an afterthought
  • Operations and marketing were structured enough for her to expand her team
  • She graduated from a backyard “faith shed” to a dedicated office/warehouse, the “faith house,” with capacity to keep growing

The exact revenue numbers are hers to share, but the directional shift is clear: from “DIY and duct tape” to a foundation built to scale.

From Kitchen Stove Candles To 110 Employees

Candle & Home Fragrance Brand | Husband‑and‑Wife Founders

Niche: Handmade candles & home décor
Starting point: Candles poured on stove, slow sales
Main issues: Great product, almost zero traffic, no understanding of ads
Outcome: Grew from kitchen op to 110 employees, 7 FedEx trucks a day

Where They Started

When they came to FoundRev, they were classic “great product, no pipeline” founders:

  • Beautiful candles, strong brand story
  • A website… with almost no one visiting it
  • Very little understanding of how to use Meta ads or email
  • Growing doubt: “We built it. Why aren’t they coming?”
“We had this great product and I built a website and no one was coming. I started getting a little discouraged and doubting myself.”

What We Did With FoundRev

We focused on three things and drilled them:

1. Meta ads: turning “post and pray” into predictable traffic

We taught them how to actually structure Meta campaigns to find and scale winners, use creative and offers that would pull in their ideal customers, and read the numbers so they knew when to push and when to pause.

2. Email: turning their customer base into recurring revenue

Most brands severely underutilize email. We made it a centerpiece by setting up strategic flows and campaigns so customers heard from them consistently.

“Brian helped us better utilize our customer base… Facebook ads, email campaigns, how to better utilize our customer base.”

3. Support and community: so they never got stuck

Instead of a “good luck” handoff, we gave them direct feedback on their site, emails, and ads so they could keep improving, plus a community of other operators so they didn’t feel like they were building in a vacuum.

The Results

The compounding effect of ads + email + support showed up in real‑world ways:

  • Production moved from the home stove to a full warehouse
  • Headcount grew to 110 employees at peak season
  • FedEx was sending seven trucks a day to pick up thousands of candles
“Katie’s candles were being made on our stove, one pot at a time… By our Christmas ramp‑up with Brian’s help, we were at 110 employees and shipping thousands of candles every day.”
